My Story

I was trained at the internationally renowned Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York and have been a licensed professional massage therapist in New York State since 1990. With nearly 4 decades of dedicated clinical experience I have developed an effective method that provides somatic restoration from chronic pain, stress and injury. My integrated method was developed from both my 1990's martial arts, acupuncture and Shiatsu training while living between Tokyo and Shanghai and the Western approaches to soft tissue manipulation. These include Neuro-muscular Therapy, Muscular Energy Techniques, integrated fascia treatments and general sports and medical massage methods. In addition to my integrative somatic methods, I offer effective exercise and supplement recommendations.

Since 1997 I have been seeing clients between my New York City and New Jersey offices where I continue the unique privilege of working with professional dancers and athletes as well as anyone committed to their continued health and well being.

I enjoy working collaboratively with professional dance instructors, Pilates and yoga instructors, physical therapists, functional medicine practitioners and chiropractors. I endeavor to continually offer a unique brand of bodywork not only for professional colleagues but for those individuals who are simply interested in wellness and feeling revitalized.

I offer a range of professional integrated soft tissue therapy services, including deep tissue massage, sports massage, Neuro-muscular Therapy as well as medical massage. I will create a customized therapeutic session that best addresses your wellness concerns and goals.
